Was Jesus Christ really a woman?
LBI Institute has come out with a new Bible version claiming that Jesus Christ was actually female. They claim to have 'corrected' the Bible portraying Judith Christ as the Saviour of mankind. They claim that their new version makes the Bible's message more accessible to people and it portrays the rise of women in today's modern society. It also changes many well-known Bible passages including the Prodigal Son - Prodigal Daughter, the Lord's Prayer - the Lady's Prayer, as well as changing all references to Son of God and to Jesus - Judith.
This goes to show how blasphemous many of the modern versions actually are. That they would claim Christ to be a woman when all throughout the Old Testament it was prophesied that the Saviour would be the Son of God. This is nothing more than modern day feminists attempting to push their way of thinking. This is nothing new, however, it is just the same old thing in slightly different form. There have always been those false religions which claim that God is female. These people are simply blinded to the truth of the Bible and refuse to believe what God Himself has written therein.
This version is another attempt for man to do away with the true Word of God and their accountability to God. Man has always tried to discredit God's Word ever since the Torah was first written by Moses some 3300 years ago. The world fears the Bible because it tells them the truth of who they are and where they are headed. It tells us what is right and wrong and it holds us accountable for the wrongs we commit. Man does not like this because our sinful nature causes us to want to get away with anything we can.
Those who attempt to change the Word of God through all of these new versions are going to face an even greater judgment from God than most because they are deceiving people and leading them away from the Lord. Who are we to try and correct what God has spoken and given to us as His Word. That would be like a kindergartner trying to correct its teacher on the alphabet, counting, or in phonics. Just because something is not to our understanding or liking is no reason to change it or to take it out of the Word of God.
Instead of trying to change the Word of God to fit what we think it should say, we simply need to believe what God has written therein for us.
In Christ,
