The problem with being "Left Behind"
This post is a response to todays fad about the Left-Behind series books, movies, and now, yes video game. I am not going to open this for a debate in whether you believe in the pre-tribulational rapture or not. If you want to argue that point, please go here:
http://www.fundamentalpreaching.com/foru...ut505.html There is a problem with the humanistic christian movement today, aside from being completely selfish. Actually what I am going to post about here is part of that selfishness. In fact, that selfishness will cause many to be eternally damned. If you have read, read about, or even heard about the "Left Behind" series of books/movies, you more than likely know what they are about. They basically spell out a group of people and their lives/experiences after the occurence of the pre-tribulational rapture. Of course, they are all saved(so they claim in the book) and make a description of their experiences and outline of the entire tribulational period of the 70th week of Daniel. It's all very interesting if you can ignore the fact that each person just happens to be an expert in his/her field, giving them the ability to continually fool the engagements of the "GC" (global community) soldiers. Not only this, but they fortunately have an unlimited amount of cash flow, finances, and resources for the group to overcome all of these odds at the granting of "God." Yet there is one fundamental flaw that Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye(the authors fo the books) do not take into account. That flaw being that these people were alive before the rapture, and they were NOT saved. What does the bible say about this? We read: Quote:2 Thess. The simple fact of the matter folks is that if you are not received unto the Lord in the clouds(yes, I firmly believe in the rapture), then you will be left behind, and have NO CHANCE for salvation, you will believe a lie! And yes, you will believe it, because God sends it. Of course if Mr. Jenkins and LaHaye had taken this into consideration, then maybe their books cold have elicited a more genuine approach to a sobering thought by people who are not Christian, instead of making everyone feel that there will still be one more chance when they see the rapture occur. But they won't believe it was the rapture...... Love in Christ, Jim Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |

Reprobate
The Problem with being ?LEFT BEHIND?...Those left are left for Judgement not for ?ne last chance because I rejected Christ before....
The reason we have this kind of errors and beliefs is we left the teaching of reprobate. God does call ALL men unto himself, but many do not answer and actually pull away. You can only so ?NO? so long before the Holy Spirit is blasphemed. The Bible says God gives them over to a reprobate mind... At this point God in his divine wisdom shuts the door for salvation never to be opened again. It is a theme repeated over and over in the Bible The door of the ark was shut?.hardeneth his neck?destroyed without remedy, ect. It doesn?t matter the preacher, the message or the methods because the Father will no longer be drawing them. One Proof your reprobate?...the thought of being one no longer convicts you, because the Holy Spirit is no longer exercising influence in your heart. A reprobate could be the preacher, the lil old lady who never misses church, just a easily as it could be the drunk in a bar, or the weekend partier or a rebellious teenager?MANY shall say LORD, LORD. We do not know who has crossed this line and the Bible even warns about assuming; therefore we should witness and warn to the last breath.. But after the rapture....the whole world outside of Jews will be reprobate, The Father will not be drawing them but rather bringing forth judgement and the Holy Spirit will not be present...What hope will one have? This is the warning churches should be preaching not telling a lie to comfort a sinful worldly heart. They will believe and lie because it comforts them...That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Rom 1:16-32 2 The 2:12 |

Amen to that.
