Is there glory for God in salvation if no one has chosen Him?

Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: - Jer 9:23

Does the glory occur because of the choosing?

Or does the glory occur after he has taken us to himself?

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world ?1 John 2:2

Unlimited atonment all are included not only believers

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. John 6:37

God elects us for salvation but we responde by our free choice to his call, nowhere the bible denies our responsability, and this doent deminsh the glory of God

If arminism is another gosple then all the those who have held such a view like Welsey, Finney, Moody, ect. are accused to have preached a false gosple, this is ridiculace and shollow argument not able to think out of the box of a theological system, those who think like that go to far. and see one side of truth.

Particular Atonement
Please hear this good message on Particular Atonement...

http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.as...1203143011

Jesus said...I lay down my life *for the sheep*..or for all believers only!

Christ loved the church...and gave Himself for it...

I have a question in regards to the first article posted. Towards the end of the article it says if we do not keep the sabbath, we must not have the spirit of God is in us. This was put in the argument against armisiam as the right way. This is the first article about arminiasism I ever read. I was curious as to what arminianism was. I have always beleived that Jesus Fulfilled the sabbath and we rest in him.

For the son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.

Greetings....

Yes, you are correct. Some of the old Puritan writers used the word
"Sabbath"..but I prefer to say..Sunday is the Lord's Day...

Many of the old reformed faith still use the word "Sabbath"...;

but I agree that Christ fulfilled even the Sabbath day laws..etc.
and all true believers are resting and are "at rest" in Christ
who imputes His righteousness to us for our eternal justification in His sight.

For example, Pastor Don Fortner preaches the true sovereign grace message..and also is correct about the Sabbath Day...being called the Lord's Day...

The true gosple is not calvism nor arminism they are theological systems and man made but there truth is partial each one stressing one side of the truth and diminishing the other side be it God's sovereignty or the free choice of the will. If you are not convince then you can read What love is these? Calminism misrepresentation of God. Dave Hunt or his powerful refutation of calvinsm (1 page only) in:
http://www.wayoflife.org/fbns/davehunt-c...ation.html

Anyone who can read this article without any prejudice in mind can be convinced that even calvism is as mutch erronous (even more) as arminiansm.

Greetings
Hi..Thanks for the link! Yes, I have read some of Dave Hunt's articles!
He is very interesting; however, even Dave Hunt must believe in at least the "Optimistic View" of Predestination...

Only one problem here..the biblical doctrine of predestination will not "go away" if just ignored, because the Bible does teach it...

In the "The optimistic view": God has "predestined everybody to eternal life"... Satan has predestined everybody to eternal death. God is for you, the Devil is against you?....but you have to "cast the tie-breaker"...etc.

(I once heard Dr. Billy Graham teach this view in one of his sermons here in the United States...)

The problem with this view is that it has absolutely nothing to do with the Bible's view of predestination. The Bible clearly states that not everyone is predestined, but only those who will eventually believe and enjoy eternal life. Christians are frequently called the elect, as opposed to the non-elect, and are said to be the chosen ones (see Rom 8:33; 11:7; 1 Cor 1:27-29; Col 3:12; 2 Tim 2:10; Tit 1:1; 1 Pe 2:8-9)....?

Robert
