I'm one of them...
Single, never married, no kids (sorry have to say that in today's society!!) I'm not IFB, but enjoy reading the posts and discussing when I have occassion to. I teach, but am not certified, and hold another part time job as well, and am very involved with my church. I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, working on my house, teaching and praying. And penny-pinching!! My "family" is a 15 pound cat named Dean... my blood family lives out of state and I have a huge, wonderful church family in my city. |

introduction updated
I am forty-two years old. My husband is a Baptist minister and pastor of a small IFBC that's only four years old. We have three children. Our oldest son is 20 and waiting for a medical discharge from the National Guard to go through. He is at Fort Gordon, Georgia right now and would appreciate prayer for the discharge to hurry up. He's been waiting since February and may not get home until August. Our daughter is 16 and our youngest son will be 15 the end of May (2008). I am a drive-through cashier in fast food but am praying to be a SAHM. My husband says it is impossible to live on one income these days so God has to change his mind before I can quit my job. The stress of my job is wearing on my health and I am very concerned that it will take my health failing before my husband will see how much I need to be home. Please pray for me that I have strength and for my husband that he would do what is necessary. Thank you.

I certainly will be in prayer ma'm.
The Lord has blessed us abundantly and allowed my wife to be a "SAHM" as you put it. We have three children and are expecting our fourth in November. She is also home schooling all of ours. Love in Christ, Jim Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |
