Thanks
I am giving thanks to God.

About 9.20. pm last Wednesday I was at our local Tesco supermarket, getting carrier bags from the boot (trunk) when somebody reversed into me trapping my leg between their car and mine. I was in considerably pain, and nearly passed out. The store first aider put an Ice pack on my knee, while she filled out the details. The manager tried to get me a cup of tea, but could not get the hot water machine to work so gave me a cup of milk.

The next day I went to the minor injuries unit at our health centre and saw a doctor who examined my leg and said that nothing was broken and that there was no sign of a blood clot which was what would concern them. I said that when it happened I I thought I would lose my leg and he said that if the car was going any faster I probably would have.

However, today the pain has gone except for my calves and a certain amount of stiffness. So I am giving thanks to God that it was not far worse.
