Grandma rushed to the Hospital!
Just found out my Grandma was found unconscious this morning and they found a big brain tumor. She is now being taken to Fargo. Please pray I am not sure of her spiritual condition. She made a profession many years ago and was even baptized. Only God knows.

Surgery went okay. The Dr. says the recovery is the tricky part. God bless. Smile

I hope you don't mind me adding this to your request but I received this from my daughter:

Quote:Dear Friends,

We may have told you about the Dalchers, a lovely family we went to lunch with when we visited the church in Lausanne (where Stuart Olyott was for several years). Derrick Dalcher is the Pastor of the church.

We heard this week that their 14 year old son has had a horrific accident. Apparently they have some sort of snow machine (not sure whether at home or not) and it got jammed. Philippe was trying to unjam it and got his hand caught. He lost 2 fingers on his right hands straight away. The middle finger was mangled and he has been in hospital whilst the medics were trying to save it, but this was unsuccessful and he has now had to have the one amputated.

They are such a godly family and we praise God for Philippe’s witness to medical staff. Apparently they have been saying things to him such as, “it’s ok to be angry” and he’s been so calm. When he came to from surgery his concern was for his Mum that she knew he was ok. The amazing thing is that Philippe was saved last Saturday, presumably through this experience.

Please pray for the church in Lausanne and for Derrick and Anne, their children Sarah, Samuel, Rachel, Philippe, Laetitia and Benjamin. Sarah is married to an English man and had her first child this week. Anne was intending to come over to see Sarah and the baby but has been unable to do so because of Philippe’s accident.

Philippe is severely dyslexic and was about to start some sort of apprenticeship course because of this. The loss of his fingers will have huge implications for him but we know we have a great God who has a purpose for this young lad.

In Christ,

Mary

Mary has been on the phone to my wife a number of times this afternoon as her children want to write to the family in French and has been asking my wife to correct their letters.
