How to measure love... and other ramblings
Ramblings of the day…

The “love” in this world is fleeting and always seeking. It is selfish rather than selfless There is no greater love than Calvary, nor any love more painful... Love is not measured by happiness, but rather the pain it can endure…

Teenagers want to live life now, at the expense of their futures... the world teaches this on every front. In reality, teen years should be spent preparing to live life... It is why Satan devours so many.... A lion hunting seeks out the small ones wandering out alone and ignorant of their impending destruction.

We must meet God on His terms in His way for it is He that is Holy. When God says seek him with our whole heart with all our soul, it means to forsake all else. We cannot seek God and hold on to the things of this world. We cannot mix the profane things of this world with that which we seek God. Our mind, our heart, our living soul must be willing to give up anything that is not pleasing to God. Whether it be, our thoughts, our dress, our friends, our family, our music, our wants, our desires…. Anything that is found not pleasing to God. Modern churches want to mix worldliness with Godliness and believe God is pleased and blessing because it draws a crowd. Many people believe their lifestyle, or their desires are pleasing to God because many others do it or they see prosperity in it. But these are wrong in the eyes of God. He told Moses to take off his shoes for he was on holy ground. God wants nothing that has been trodden underfoot, the remnants of this world in his presence…, how much more so the perverted music, dress, thoughts and desires of the wicked one….

Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Deut 4:29 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Deut 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deut 10:12 what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

RE: How to measure love... and other ramblings
In my late teen years, I was one who lived for the now, never thinking about tomorrow nor consequences. I'm just thankful those things I was taught in church, the example mother and grandmother set for me, finally woke me up and I changed my path.

In His service,

Likewise. I was taught by may parents. When I arrived home and my parents and sister weren't there, when they should gave been, I used to panic and wonder if Jesus had come and left me behind. I don't know why as my dad was completely against that teaching. I have come to see that he was correct.
