It's all about me!
How many people(even christians) buy into the modern notion; “I have to do what makes me happy” “What I think is best”. That is what Eve, Samson, Saul and Judas of the Bible thought. Good thing Moses, Ester, Abraham and our LORD did not think that way. Our “Happiness” should be a bi-product of pleasing the LORD. Living by ones feelings rather... than objective biblical truths is the heart of mysticism.
Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. ALL truth, all happiness, all joy, all perseverance, all strength all wisdom, is found in the understanding and application of this one verse |
