Prayer Request
Brothers and Sisters I sincerely ask prayer for a wonderful situation in my life. I have not said anything to anyone here about it except for Brother Jim.

I am soon to be married to an absolutely wonderful woman who is such an amazing blessing to me and an answer to my prayers. All I can say is the Lord has given me the best thing that has ever happened to me outside of my Salvation. She is a pure Joy to me understanding that Joy is a part of the Fruit of the Spirit. It is God who provides the Joy through His Holy Spirit but in this case has used my fiance' to deliver that Joy to me.

I don't EVER recall when I have laughed so much in my entire life. She is such a blessing to me! My Pastor had told me that if the Lord wanted me to have a woman in my life He would send me one. This one sought me out. She makes me feel like a teen-ager again.

Would you please pray for our union? We do not have a set date at this time but it will be no later than May 3rd.

In Christ,
George

AMEN! Good news, Brother - we'll definitely pray!

RE: Prayer Request
I apologize for taking so long to get back on this subject. Things were not working out real well. We discovered it can be a daunting task to try to plan a wedding in California while being in Oregon.

So...this past Wednesday, April 14th, we were married. My best friend and I are now husband and wife. It was a wonderful little ceremony. There were not many people because we decided one day to get married the next.

There was an additional and tremendous blessing contained in the day which was unexpected but welcomed. My wife and her twin daughters have been estranged for about 4 years. Since I have been here in Oregon the Lord has been blessing and Sandra had dinner with one of them a couple of weeks ago. then that particular daughter and her husband were able to come to the wedding. After the wedding we went to dinner in Salem and the other daughter and son-in-law met us at the restaurant. It was really quite a blessing and very moving to look across the table and see Sandra with one of her daughters on either side.

We have not really gone on any kind of honeymoon because this coming Saturday we are going back to California. After we have been there a few days and gotten settled in we are going to Southern California and particularly Disneyland. My sweetheart and I both love Disneyland so it was the obvious place to go.

On May 8th we have to head back to Oregon again. We are going to work on selling things from her house we do not need. While we are in California the two weeks one of the things we are going to accomplish is to get rid of things from my place, which is now our place, that are going to be replaced by some of the things from her place which is also now our place.

Anyway I will say again that Sandra is an incredible blessing to me. It took me 63 years to find the best thing that has ever happened to me other than the day I got saved. We are both extremely happy. Thank you all for your support and prayers.

In Christ,
George
