Pray for a church I will be preaching for on Jan 31. This church need a pastor. The membership is small whoever is called will have to work outside the church.

I shall be praying for that un-named Church Brother. Not only its need for a pastor but also its need for increased membership.

When I go into a small Church and hear people complaining about the lack of members I love to challenge them. I love to ask how long it has been since they sat in Church next to someone who smells of alcohol? How long has it been since you sat in Church next to an obviously pregnant and single lady? How long has it been since you sat in Church next to a homosexual who is struggling mightily to rid his or her life of this sin and trying to get right with God?

Those are the kinds of people we as a Church really need to reach out to. We need to seek out the truly lost. I believe that if this is done in a correct way the others will follow.

In Christ,
George

(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

I am praying too! Not only for the church without a pastor, but also that the Shepard will increase the Flock!

RE: prayer request
Thank you for praying for me as I preached over this past weekend for the church without a pastor. The church is Victory Baptist located in Barnwell,SC. Continue to pray for them as they seek God's will. Pray that they listen to God on who He wants them to have. If you know someone who has an outside income it would be good fit.
