Haiti Update
I normally don’t have a lot of time on the internet to spend on the board, this week I been on it trying to help connect people and supplies… hence a few post while waiting on calls - welcome or unwelcome there here…
Here is a synopsis

ORH is still shuttling planes in and out of Haiti with 3 planes. They have been going in full and coming out full with rescue/injured. On takeoff for his 5th trip Dave lost an engine but was able to land safely. Dave borrowed a plane and has plans for his to have the engine replaced in a week. They sent a container of medical supplies and 40 carnival tents we arranged on the way and plan on setting up a more permanent medical team in the coming days. ORH folks witness to all they come in contact with. Amen

ISOH Impact is on the ground in Haiti with a 20member medical team working 24/7. Two containers already sent (one with the other 40 tents we arranged) and 50 containers preparing to go in a chain to feed 1 million meals, wow. They are trying to get a portable x-ray machine in. Their supplies were running low when the Mexican military approached them and restocked their supplies. But now they need more. Everyone says this is going to take a long time. They say well drilling equipment is a needful tool to sustain life... I know a pro well-man willing to go and drill just needs a rig….

The few little things I have been able to do from here just making a few phone calls; connecting people that have, with those that move, to those that need, has been rewarding. Pray that these folks and the many others, can yes, do the much needed humanitarian work in the months to come, but that all this will open doors of witness to turn this people’s heart to God and righteousness. The concentration on Haiti will also hurt else where as well, Not enough to go around so places like Honduras, Guyana, Africa get supplies reduced or cut from NGOs.. It will affect us directly here for sure this year. We were already sharing our donations with folks around us and the public school last year because they did not have enough.(the 8 starving kids eating wood on the blog a few weeks ago) Here in Honduras, after it was destroyed during Hurricane Mitch 10 years ago(I came to help then and it broke my heart so here I am) there was a influx of much help. Some still yet today 10 years later. Honduras was smart enough to use this to lift the economy of Honduras a little. Many blessings for all fell on them, but with each monetary blessing came spiritual costs. The USA set up modern cell towers and communications… Everyone can afford a cell phone, so every teenager has one… and cable tv filled with worldly junk, even al-jazeera, Chinese and Venezuelan stations. And we now have every different kind of religion under the sun with an influence here. This too will happen in Haiti, A great door of opportunity is open… Will it be used or wasted by Christians?

The Blog has been updated on things here in Honduras. Had a wonderful outreach in the mountains, The Kia is fixed thanks to a ministering saint. After several days and numerous times pulling the water pump up, Had to replace the wire, some tubing, clean the pump and motor and replace capacitors, but it is now pumping water at the Orphanage and Barry Jr is tired. Busy week ahead getting all the kids ready for the new school year. The church boys went tracting… Photos of this and more are at
