Pacific Coast Bible Institute
Brothers and Sisters, First Baptist Church of Santa Maria needs your prayers.

Yesterday morning the goals of the Church for the coming year were disclosed and discussed. One of the goals, and it is something that has been needed in this area for a long time, is the founding of Pacific Coast Bible Institute. This will be a precursor and a lead-in to the establishment of a Bible College in the future.

One of the goals of the Institute will be to reach out to the Mexican community. Santa Maria is composed of about 60% Mexicans. (No, they are not Mexican-Americans, they are Mexicans and a lot of them illegal.) There are a tremendous number of they who have no knowledge of the English language at all. It is our intent to use the Bible to teach them to read and speak English. We are very blessed to have a lady on staff in our Christian School who has a doctorate degree in English.

We have many more goals on line for this year. We need to be immersed in prayer.

In Christ,
George

(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Amen, Bro George! Glad to see that your folks see the opportunity to reach these folks. We've got 42 million Spanish speakers in the States, and if we don't reach them with the gospel, the devil and his crowd will do everything imaginable to take 'em to hell.

When all government, domestic and foreign, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." T. Jefferson

I like this quote, it rang very true in the Union, and caused the second war for Independence, and that time caused us to lose our rights and liberties.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Thanks Jim! Hopefully some folks will read and really THINK about what Jefferson was saying. The republic we had is not the same republic we live in now, but most Americans don't realize it. Of course, you now as well as I, that if you don't SEE the problem, you can't CORRECT it. My good friend Sam Gipp says that if "you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."

Way too many people have got their hand in the till - one out of every four Americans works for a government entity of some type, local, county, State, or federal. They are not going to change a system where they have to WORK for a living, as long as government fees (i.e. taxes) pays their salary.

We DO NOT live in a democracy - this was set up as a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, and there is a VAST DIFFERENCE between the two. Every democracy in history has FAILED. Our founders never intended for us to be this multi-cultural, globally-focused monstrosity that is being pushed on us by the muslim in the Washington along with his cronies in the Congress.

Almost everyone I have spoken to over the last 30 years or so, has no idea what our republic is supposed to be or how to run it. The Dewey education system, that threw God out the window, along with the Darwinian evolutionists and the politically correct crowd, has done a fine job in brain-washing the last two generations of our people, thru our institutions of "higher learning". What a shame!

And to add a little more to that, many years prior to that, read what was warned about by Patrick Cleburne, a general in the CSA:

"Surrender means that the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern school teachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the War; will be impressed by all the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit subjects for derision."

The simple fact of the matter is that the Union Federalists (who are truly Marxists by the way) only have one goal in mind, create the largest federal system in the world. Of course this is impossible, because it is none other than communism.

The result of the Federalists winning the war accomplished the greatest lie ever purported by a nation, so very reminiscient of what Hitler did with the Reich. Of course we did it before he did. People believe that as long as the government supports, or purports something, then it must be true. Through school-systems, local newspapers and radio, the federal government found the best way to lie to the American people, which has put us to the point to which we find ourselves today, and many sheeple believe and support the government.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Amen, Brother! I agree whole-heartedly. Yes, Bro George, forgive my side-tracking the thread - we have the Institute on our prayer list.

Thank you gentlemen. I was having quite a difficult time in trying to figure out how a post that I made asking consideration for prayer could be turned into a political discussion. Not only that, it was turned into a political discussion about things that happened back in the mid-1800's. Wow!

How are things progressing there at the Institute, Bro George?

Things are going along well. We have a tentative start date of the day school starts again in the fall. We are getting together faculty and areas of study. We will most likely be holding classes on Tuesday and/or Thursday evening and Saturday during the day. Since at this time we have not built the separate buildings we will use the rooms of Valley Christian Academy. Praise the Lord He has given us a whole school with many class rooms and equipment we can use until such time as we can build our Bible College on the back property. Of course at that time it will most likely change to Pacific Coast Bible College.

George
