A prayer request
Please be in prayer for our friend Christine, whose husband John passed away on Monday after a long battle with illness. My wife and I have known John for most of our lives, and we are very saddened by his passing. We are thankful that John died as a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is a comfort to know that he is now with his Saviour. John was a faithful minister of God's Word for many years. He preached an old and timeless gospel, and he stood firmly against the modernism and compromise that is prevalent in so many churches today. He will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives have been touched by his ministry.
Occupy till I come (Luke 19:13b) As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12) |

Praying for Christine and the rest of the family...what a wonderful homecoming we will have one day - I can't wait to meet everyone!

I prayed for christine today. praise the Lord for a soldier of the cross that finishes the course well.
