Double standards?
Here's a couple of old news articles that illustrate a double standard that is increasingly being seen in society today. Both articles happen to be from England, but this sort of thing is happening in many countries across the world.
It is almost as if there is one set of (very restrictive) rules for Christians, and another set of rules for everyone else. Female police officers are issued with hijabs to avoid offending Muslim people: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk...730192.ece ...but if a Christian nurse offers to pray for a patient, she could lose her job: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment...675452.ece Although the nurse was eventually reinstated to her job, the disciplinary proceedings should still never have happened in the first place. Occupy till I come (Luke 19:13b) As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12) |

RE: Double standards?
And, as Bro Sam Gipp says, this all comes about due to the influence of the news mafia!
"Always correct the Bible critics with the King James' text and never worry about doing it. Do it cheerfully, prayerfully, and with thanksgiving, giving the glory to God and being assured that at the Judgment Seat of Christ, you won't have anything to worry about." Dr. Peter S. Ruckman |

"But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."--Matthew 24:37
"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." |

RE: Double standards?
Luke 17: 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
It seems those days have come. David Job 19:25 But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth, And at last he will stand up upon the earth: |
