Missionaries
Brothers and Sisters would you please consider prayer for two young female missionaries from our area? They are both in need of a lot of prayer.

One of them, Laura McLain only recently went into the field in South Africa. We found out from her missions board that day before yesterday someone or someones broke into her apartment in South Africa while she was home. They stole her computer, her money. some other things and her car. Her father is the Pastor of the Church I recently was attending. He and his wife are on their way to South Africa. The missions board strongly recommended they go to be with her during this time of trial. Praise God that apparently she was not injured in all of this.

The other young lady who is actually Laura's cousin, Erica McLain is having a miscarriage and was rushed to the hospital last night. Erica has married since being in the field in Brazil and unfortunately I do not know her married name.

These two young ladies are extremely dedicated to the work they do on behalf of the Lord. We know the trials they are going through are for a reason but right now the reason is difficult to understand.

Thank you for your prayers.

In Christ,
George

(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

RE: Missionaries
We're praying for them, Bro George and have them on our church prayer list as well. Keep is updated.

"Always correct the Bible critics with the King James' text and never worry about doing it. Do it cheerfully, prayerfully, and with thanksgiving, giving the glory to God and being assured that at the Judgment Seat of Christ, you won't have anything to worry about." Dr. Peter S. Ruckman

RE: Missionaries
I don't think we pray enough for our missionaries.

We've just heard from a Korean family working for Wycliffe in the Philippines. The older boy has found that his Korean is not good enough for his University course. MKs are particularly vulnerable.

I shall Brother. I do not know if Laura's father took a laptop with him or if he will be able to check or send email while in South Africa. However I did send him an email. Perhaps he will contact someone from the Church.

Erica's father and mother are also missionaries to Brazil. In fact they have been there for 39 years. They are currently on furlough and since we are the sending Church we see them quite often. Next I see them I will inquire as to whether there is any further information available.
