Encouragement for all the Godly men on Fundamental Preaching...

Brothers in Christ... you have been such a blessing to me. The things that the Lord has revealed in my heart through your leadership on Fundamental Preaching has been wonderful. I share what you write with my husband... many times. We have both discovered so much wisdom through the saints on Fundamental Preaching.

As you know... my husband started his own business a couple of years ago. The Lord has truly blessed us. He is also continuing at the Bible Institute at our local Independent Baptist Church. He turned in his research projects today. He took his tests last week. He will be attending his 3rd year in the Fall of 2009.

Joe was saved at the age of 14... but remained dedicated to his parents and our old country Baptist church in the suburbs... for many years. He has always been faithful and obedient to the Lord regarding fellowship amongst the brethren... and his church position at our old IFB church as Sunday School Superintendent. I prayed to the Lord for wisdom and guidance in the direction that God would lead him and our family. Presently, he is in the "help's ministry" like his Godly mother. He has no desire to be an IFB Deacon like his dad. Time will tell where God leads Him (us).

The Lord... led us to our new IFB church in 2006. Both of us continue to grow as servants of Jesus Christ. I want to thank you for your support and prayers... since I have joined Fundamental Preaching. I am not leaving, btw... lol I just wanted to "give a shout out" to ALL of the men on here. You are an incredible blessing to my husband, myself, our son, and my brother. And, our extended families. My brother (we believe) is close to salvation in Jesus Christ. I share what you write with him... as well. Would you keep Larry in prayer, please... for salvation?

I want to close with a paragraph - written by Herbert Lockyer. The book is called All the WOMEN of the Bible Everything you wanted to know from Abi to Zipporah More than 400 women profiled. What women of the Bible teach us today. I know many of you have wives that have probably read this wonderful book.

p.13 "If man is the head, she [woman] is the crown, a crown to her husband, the crown of the visible creation. The man was dust refined, but the woman was double-refined, one remove further from the earth... The woman was made of a rib out of the side of Adam; not made out of his head to rule over him, nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be beloved."

After 8 years (almost 7 months) of marriage to my husband, Joe... we are growing closer together.
