Hi There
Hi, my name is Tim Fisher. I live in Baker City Oregon about 70 miles West of Hells Canyon and the Snake River.
I was saved December 11th 1993. My wife of almost 19 years was saved the same day as me and we have 2 teenage boys. I was a Deputy Sheriff for 17 years in Baker County Oregon and spent a total of 21 years in Law Enforcement. Police work was my ministry (Romans 13). March 9th 2007 the Lord called me to preach the gospel. Due to an injury I recieved at work as well as birth defects in my legs, I medically retired from Law Enforcement October 31 2007. I am currently the Assistant Pastor of Elkhorn Baptist Church in Baker City Oregon, wwwelkhornbaptistchurch.org My friends from Online Baptist told me of this board so I thought I would come join in.

Welcome aboard Pastor, it is a pleasure to have you with us. I pray you will become an active member sharing your knowledge and thoughts with us. We have many members but as you have seen we need more who participate on a regular basis. I must tell you that one of the most enjoyable times of my life was the time I spent as a Police Petty Officer at the Naval Station in Long Beach. In fact I almost went into law enforcement with the LA County Sheriff's Department when I got out but things happened and I decided I did not want to live anywhere in the LA area.
