God is working in my life and has for quite a wile for what I do not know

I mean that for the last 3 years I have been like both Job and his friends at the same time

It does not seem to me that my faith is getting stronger, every day I get more questions than answers

Bro. Harold, You sometimes have to go through the fire in order for God to show you what you are made of.

Have you ever watched an old-time blacksmith take a bucket of rocks, put it into the fire, melt it down, and turn it into something useful like a horseshoe, or perhaps a farm implement, or even a fancy sword?

We start our Christian lives as buckets or rocks. We have the potential to be something very special to God, and in order for him to turn us into a useful implement of his own design, he has to put us into the fire. This is the smelting process. It can get REALLY REALLY hot when you are in the fire, but that is the only way to get the iron out of the ore. Once God has melted the iron out of us, so to speak, then he can shape us and mold us and turn us into something useful.

Nobody ever said that being a Christian is a cake walk. God doesn't wave his magic wand at us and everything just falls into place. It has taken me almost 30 years to realize that God is more like a Master Blacksmith than the Tooth Fairy.
