Since I have been unemployed since October and my little part time jobs have fizzled, I am going to have to give up my modem and cable box in the morning!

I have been using a "bundled service" of telephone+high speed internet+cable and can no longer afford to pay the monthly fee.

So until I can become gainfully employed again, I am going to have to go off-line for awhile!

I am going to miss everyone here and I will try to get online at the library whenever I can to check my emails and messages and what not.

here i am at the library checking and posting *sigh*

i never realized how attached to technology i have become until i have to do without it!

if you had told me 20 years ago that i would not find myself being able to bear the thought of living with out internet access i would have called you a complete liar! i did not even OWN a computer back in those days! now here i am trying to survive without one - i can't pull up recipes or check for job openings or nothing! boo-hoo!

Sorry to see you go. I pray that the Lord will move in your life so that you burdrns are eased.
I too am out of gainful employment since Sept 08. I have a wife that carries the burden and I pastor a church that is not able to pay enough to cover my expense I use in maintaining the ministry.
Maybe you would pray for me as I seek Gods will for another church. the change has nothing to do with money. There is a doctrinal problem that has surface that I did not understand was here when I came here. I will stay and try to teach it out until the Lord opens the door for another church.

Brother the last I saw she was going to the public library to use the computer to log in to the site. I don't think wee have lost her completely at this time. She certainly needs a lot of our prayers.

When I was on another site awhile ago - IM4given and I talked on the phone one time. I tried calling her last week - and her phone is disconnected. I am not surprised - given her financial problems. I agree 100% about her work issue. She does need work - as she is supporting herself and her children. She has been working since she was a child (like most of us... lol) and certainly needs ALL of our prayers. We all need prayer. Amen!
