RE: Should women stay home? Men or women
Sorry, guys. I tend to get hyper-emotional right around tax time each year! One of the ways my ex tries to do me in is by cheating on his taxes and claiming our daughter for the earned income credit - which he is not legally supposed to be able to do. Even though we have been apart for several years - he uses everything he can against me to make me "pay" for "leaving him." He claims to be a Christian and claimed he was saved when he was a teenager - but I have seen very little evidence of it if it is true. He is cold and heartless, and vindicitive.
He actually had the nerve to "forgive me" a couple of years ago! He never acknowledged his infidelities, even though it was very common knowledge throughout our little small town community and his buddies covered his whereabouts for him. I guess I put the "mental" in fundamental, don't I ? My father passed away some twenty years ago from cancer, and so I consider Jesus and God as my only authority. Is that wrong? "Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." |

RE: Should women stay home? Men or women
Quote:My father passed away some twenty years ago from cancer, and so I consider Jesus and God as my only authority. Is that wrong? Not by any means. Jesus is the Ultimate authority. However as I quoted from the Bible previously, a woman is supposed to be under that authority of a man, while here on this earth at all times. The father figure does not count. "(Mar 10:7) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; (or husband in the case of the wife.) The Pastor does not count as he is the undershepard of a sometimes large flock and is not often available on an individual basis. While Jesus Christ is our ultimate authority, again I say the Bible requires that a woman be under the authority of a man (her husband) at all times. I posted a few relevant Bible verses showing this fact. There is no arguing against the Bible. At least there is none with me. However thee are many, many people in this world who proclaim themselves to be Christians who pick and choose which parts of the Bible they choose to accept and live by and which parts they don't. In Christ, George (Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. |

RE: Should women stay home? Men or women
Laura Schlessinger is an author that writes encouraging books for "Stay-at-Home Moms." She can be heard on "Focus on the Family" radio broadcast. In my area... that is WCRF 103.3 Cleveland, OH.
She is quite an adovate for Home-schooling one's children. I would encourage all women (and, men for that matter) to do a search on her name. She is a blessing! Revelation 22:5... And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. "God Gives Light" King James Bible |

RE: Should women stay home? Men or women
Here it is: (Aired yesterday--- 4-8-09)
Encouragement for Stay-at-home Moms. Focus on the Family Radio Broadcast - WCRF 103.3 - Cleveland, OH When asked "What do you do for a living?" some women are embarrassed to admit they are stay-at-home mothers. But Laura Schlessinger wants to encourage these ladies to hold their heads high and reply with pride, "I take a house...and make it a home!" On today's broadcast, the popular radio host and best-selling author known as "Dr. Laura" argues persuasively against the negative cultural stigma associated with women who choose full-time childrearing. In a discussion based on her new book, In Praise of Stay-at-Home Moms, Schlessinger offers advice to busy mothers and encouragement for women who wonder if they've made the right choice in foregoing the corporate ladder for the sake of home and family. Just do a google ladies and gentlemen... and you will hear yesterday's broadcast. It was on around 4:30 P.M. (Cleveland time)... "Focus on the Family" with Dr. James Dobson. God bless, Molly Revelation 22:5... And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. "God Gives Light" King James Bible |
