Greetings, Brothers and Sisters in Christ....
Hello. I came by this fundamental preaching website via a sister in Christ (IM4given). I was looking "exclusively" for a KJVO website where I would be able to fellowship with like-minded believers--- without having to defend God's Holy Word (every other post...LOL). Actually, I was hoping to learn and grow through God's Word as well as be a "light" to those who need that glorious hope that lies within me...through Christ my Saviour. God bless.

I John 1:7...But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. KJV 1611 AV.

Revelation 22:5... And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. "God Gives Light" King James Bible

I think so...Janet. I have been browsing around looking at topics. I also noticed some familiar screen names, too. Mr. Green

Welcome aboard! We are pleased to have you with us. While it is true we do not compromise on God's Word you will find that we can still find areas to disagree in and on. I have found this a wonderful site to learn from. While we are few in number those who remain are strong in the Lord. It is quite a blessing.

It is certainly good to see a group of ladies contributing. We have had ladies over the years but most seem to disappear for one reason or another. Some may be lurking. We do have a ladies area but you will find that often men contribute in that area also, especially the thread on cooking.

And for you men out there including myself, we need to get some more men aboard or the ladies will soon outnumber us.

In Christ,
George

Thank you for the welcome, Brother George. Yes...we can disagree in areas w/o compromising God's Word! Amen!!

Well...Janet and I might be staying for awhile. Besides, we both love to talk. Wink Seriously, I hope to "stretch my faith" here.

You gotta be careful. I think soliciting points get you in the negative category! Shocked

WOOPS! I wasn't soliciting Bro. George - I was just askin is all! I see that there are plenty of people here who have zero reputations and mabe do not know about the reputation system. It is the first time I have ever seen a board with them.

I was just giving you a bad time hence the smiley face. You ought to take a screen shot of those because I very, very seldom use them. I just do not care for them. This is my first experience with a board that has this feature also. If anyone does not know how to use it all you have to do is move your cursor over the number on the individual's reputation area and click on that number. You will be taken to an area where you can enter things for that person's reputation. I have no idea how I got seven but seven is a good number according to the Bible.

A belated welcome, Candlelight. I trust that the LORD will bless your participation here. Could you share some about your salvation?

RE: Greetings, Brothers and Sisters in Christ....
My Salvation Experience and Testimony...

Greetings. I began my spiritual walk in January of 1997. At the time, though, I didn't know what was about to happen in my life. I was suffering from an undiagnosed medical illness. The first hospital had the correct diagnoses all along, but... the other hospital was reluctant to accept this medical fact. In March of 1998, a man who had gone through the depths of alcoholism, shared the Gospel with me. I just couldn't believe the miraculous change in this man. I wondered what happened to him? I was having problems with alcohol, as well, during that time--- thinking it would relieve my problems. Of course, it didn't. Well, this man shared the Gospel message with me... and I thought I was saved; however, I would learn that this was the beginning of the spiritual course that God had set me on.

My future MIL began to witness to me. My future husband and his family lived on my street and belonged to the Independent Baptist Church in town. I was a single mom raising a young son. In July of 1999, another neighbor on the street invited my, then--- 7 year old son to attend VBS at the little country Baptist church in the suburbs. I said..."Sure, he needs a little Religion." My son just finished making the "Sacrament of First Communion" in the Roman Catholic Church we belonged to. I was very engrossed with my job as a teacher in the Cleveland Municipal School District. Being a mother and working as a school teacher was all that I had. I wanted to eventually become the superintendent of the C.M.S.D. one day, as I was taking graduate classes to further this mission. I love being a mom, and I loved my job as a fifth grade teacher. My body could no longer take the physical and emotional stress of my teaching job, though. God had other plans for me that I wasn't aware of... at the time.

Later, my mother remembered that I suffered from high temperatures as a baby and young child. These fevers led to several bouts of seizures that resulted in convulsions. They were a result of strep-throat, scarlet fever, and rheumatic fever. My doctor did not think that these were related, at all. She was mistaken. University Hospitals of Cleveland, OH made the correct diagnoses in January of 1997. In 1987, I had also been involved in a car accident. I was a passenger, and had gone through the windshield of the car. I developed a small lesion on the frontal lobe of my brain. After a change in insurance, I went to a doctor who suggested I see a neurologist. The neurologist put me on an anti-seizure medication that somewhat worked. The seizures still continued, occasionally. They affected my attendance at work.

I retired, early, out of the C.M.S.D. at age 39 due to my medical illness. I am almost 45. I am retired with S.T.R.S. of Ohio. I have been married since November of 2000 to a wonderful Christian man. He has helped me raise my 18 year old son--- from my previous marriage. He is a terrific husband and step-dad! On Resurrection Sunday of 2003, I saw the Jewish (Passover) Seder in my church. Something began to click in my heart, soul, and mind. I was extremely exited in knowing more about what God's Word--- the KJB had to say. In April, an evangelist preached on early Christian history. I heard so many things about the Romans and became righteously angry. All along I had been passive in church, and now I was learning assertiveness? I didn't understand what was about to happen. During this time, I took it upon myself to go off my anti-convulsion medication.

On May 9, 2003 I suffered another seizure. My husband called the paramedics, and he and our son would witness something that would not only shock the doctors--- but us, as well. When the paramedic (a man I knew from high school) asked me, in the hospital, when I awoke, if I knew my name... I said, "Yes, my name is Molly _____ _____ ,and I have been born-again! Prasie the Lord! I had given my birth name, and my son began to laugh--- asking me what happened to my last name? In 1997, with my first seizure, I told the doctors that I needed to live my life over again. This was what the Lord meant by my words, then, I believe. I knew nothing about salvation at that time in my life. Anyway, my in-laws came to pray with me that night, with my husband, and I was sent home. At this time... I asked Jesus to help me repent of my anger against my ex-husband. During the middle of the morning I awoke with another seizure in my sleep. It was the result of a horrible nightmare--- where someone was about to kill me. The nightmare was very clear. Again, the ambulance took me to the hospital. My anti-convulsant levels were very low, still. In the same hospital... where I sat by my dying dad's side... in early November of 1993, I would begin my personal Revival. This would carry on until today, and Lord Willing--- into the future. I began telling everyone about Jesus Christ and how He, and He alone...is the Saviour of the world. I talked to people about how to get saved. I shared the Gospel and my testimony from my hospital bed. The Holy Spirit grabbed a hold of me, and nothing was going to stop me from telling people the truth about Jesus Christ. The neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic gave a dual diagnoses that matched University Hospital's diagnoses. I suffer from Partial Epilepsy. I take a small dose of an older anti-seizure medication, daily.

Currently, I am a member of an Independent Baptist church outside of Cleveland, OH. I am on a committee at my church, that helps with the aiding of homeless women. It is part of the "City Mission" of Cleveland, OH. My husband and I are in charge of the breakfast on Sunday morning for the homeless woman and new members at our church. My husband, Joe, continues to learn at the Bible Institute at our local church. I will start working with the women, in the shelter, at the end of March. I will begin courses at a pregnancy crisis center for counseling in April. The Lord Jesus continues to bless me and my family, daily. Even though I can't see the "big picture" I know that "God is in the details." I hope and pray that I can continue to serve the Lord that created and saved my soul. I pray that I may learn and grow more in His Holy Word. I am godly proud to be a Christian wife and mother. This is something I strive to work on more... through the Word of God. Seeking to know more about His Word---- the Holy Bible, is what I desire the most in my life. Planting seeds and leading souls to Christ is the strongest desire of my heart. Being able to apply these truths to my life is something that is on-going. Daily, I ask God to help me search my heart. Psalm 139:23-24...23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

You asked, Brother Tim...lol. Seriously, I am happy to share my testimony with others. God bless.
