I was a Special Ed teacher in Kentucky for many years, and then when I came to Florida I started working with disabled individuals in the community through the Med Waiver HCBS program.

I did not know you did the same type work my daughter does.

My daughter, Jerri Lynn, she is 38, also works with such people at you do, several of them have autism, she has been doing this for about 5 to 10 years now, I can't keep track of time, its passing by so fast.

Anyway, I came over here to take a look as you suggested, I think I came by this group a few months back, they seemed like a great group. Anyway I joined, looked around, read a few post, even saw a few people who I know besides you.

Anywho, I thought I would let you and other friends I've seen here that I'm looking around.

I probably want post right now, maybe later, after attending my nephews son's funeral service this afternoon it has left me in kind of a quite mode, its just so sad to see a 21 year old man ends his life in such a manner.

May God Bless,
Jerry

Now hold on thar! Cracker Barrel was where I was introduced to Chocolate Pecan Pie. There is nothing like it. If you warm it up and put some vanilla ice cream on it, it is to die for. In fact because of that introduction I have come to make it myself. It is out of this world!

Then there is Louisiana Sweet Potato pecan pie but that is a whole different story.
