My goodness, we certainly will be. Slug or shot? Mostly powder burn, or did it sever any bones?

Sorry to hear about this, Brother. I guess that the saying, "shooting oneself in the foot" literally happens! Sad

I know how that feels. I have been unemployed for 2 months now, and it is not looking good for us financially at all.

I will certaily keep praying for you brother.

Always remember though, to not get discouraged. the Lord knows why He allowed this and there is a purpose for it. Remember, do not let discouragement get the better of you, the Lord is in control.

Love in Christ,

Jim

RE: preacher chris
Oh my word preacherchris, I just saw this thread. I am so sorry to take so long to reply to it. Of course my prayers are with you. It is a really tough time to lose a job right now. I suppose it is tough to lose a job any time but with things the way they are in this country today it is even worse.

We shall see what the Lord has in store for you. It is sometimes rather difficult to keep in mind that He knows things better than we do even when we don't think He does. Please keep us posted on what is going on for you.

In Christ,
George

(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

RE: preacher chris
I am praying for you brother!

I was dismissed Oct. 29th in such a way I am not eliglible for unemployment benefits - Flori-duh is "right to work state" so it is hard to prove a case here. So I am making do with minimum wage part-time work and any other odd jobs I can find to do.

I am glad to hear that your foot is healing and that you are on the road to recovery.

Always remember that God will supply all our needs!

I am sorry that I just saw this prayer request... preacherchris.

You are certainly in my prayers, brother. I pray that the Lord will bless you with a job, soon. God bless you!

"A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD" King James Bible

Revelation 22:5... And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. "God Gives Light" King James Bible
