Baby shower
Hello ladies,
I am a first-time Grandmother (daughter's baby girl due in 3 months!Razz). We are having a baby shower and I would love to have a few pointers about how to go about it, what type of themes, presents, food, etc. I'm Bro. Chuck's wife and he has said it's okay if any of the men have ideas that they can also help. Well, until the next post...
Willing to do His will, Sis. Kristie

Sis.Kristie; Hi
I guess by now you've tried your hand at that baby shower....I wish I could've got on sooner, there are so many good Christian themes out there if the opportunity lends itself to that (Church circles especially)...how did it go??

RE: Baby shower
She is doing very well. It was a very hasty delivery and required them knocking my daughter out and doing emergency ceasaren, the baby was coming out very fast, buttocks first and our daughter hadn't fully dialated. The baby's hips were out some on one side because of being breach but she is fine now.
At first I wasn't sure how I would feel about her, if I could love her as much as I did my daughter. But it was truly amazing the love that flooded through me the first time I saw her. God has given me a precious grandaughter. She is not a fussy baby like her mother was LOL...Grandpa loves her too, I now understand how special it is when a granparent talks about their grandchildren. I didn't understand that before.

Dear Sis. Kristie,
congradulations on your baby girl. It sounds like God has blessed you greatly. I can't wait to have grandchildren. My son who is the only one old enough to have children says he isn't going to get married until after he finishes college. So I have at lest 3.5 years to go....bummer. Congrats again hope we see a picture of her.

RE: Baby shower
Sis. Kristie I am so glad that both mother and baby are healthy and well. Breech births can be so scary! Your daughter will have a story to tell though whenever she wants to lay on the guilt, right? My youngest daughter is 15 and she still enjoys hearing all about the day she was born - I can remember it like yesterday.

I saw a plaque one time that said "Grandchildren are God's reward for not strangling your teenagers!" Laughing
