Ways to be a help meat to your husband
Hi,
I was wondering what ways Ladies use to be a help to your husband? Things you do that help his day, his ministry, or help with finances and still be a keeper of the home.
My Grandmother use to reupholster furniture in her barn. She limited the amount she would do in a month so as not to inter-fer with her home and family. She always had dinner on the table a 5pm sharpe, this made him really happy.

I always sweep the porches for my husband and water the porch plants. Dinner is on the table at 4:30pm daily and I keep the car clean. I send him a text message every day telling him how much I love him and wishing him a good day. These things make him happy. I am looking for ways to bring income into the house and still be a stay at home wife and mom. Hoping to bless him that way.

So what are the ways you bless your husband. Just little things that brighten his day? What are some ways you are seeking to bless him?

Theresa

RE: Ways to be a help meat to your husband
I had a daycare once that I ran 24/7/365 ... Of course I had lots of good help from my girls. I've sewn for the publick, made bread, jellies, jams, fudge, cookies, pies, and raised chickens for eggs to sell. Times have changed now so don't know how feasible any of this would be. We still pick up aluminum cans by the wayside, scrapmetal, etc, in other words - we're junk collectors, lol. Everyone is willing to give away those big ol'satellite dishes they have in their yards (those things dismantled brings in over $50). They usually let you haul off their old washer/dryers too. Annual rummage sales brings in a good amount and right now I turn old clothing into yo-yo's for quilts. They will buy hand-stitched purses, hair scrunchies, etc ('specially in confederate flag print or camouflage). A person can clean houses around here for some cool cash..or do yard work for others.

Over the years, I've tucked "love notes" in mister's lunchbox; I've washed his hair, cut it, clipped the hair from his nose, ears. After unlacing his boots, I've given him foot massages. Laid out his clothes to make sure he's coordinated. Prepare his most favourite meals and desserts often. I have his permission to be on the 'puter and everything else, but never let stuff interfere with his wants or needs - also, we don't go to bed angry. I know there are tons of tiny other things, but this should give ya an idea that I think he's tops, even after 42 years!

Btw, I really like your threads, Summer..
