Hi, I am the mother of 2 children son, 19 and a daughter, 13. My husband and I have been saved for 17 years. I am excited about your ladies section. I am 45 years old. I have always used KJV but only recently (3 years ago) became a KJ only. After attending several sermons and lessons by Sam Gipp. My favorite Evangelist. I homeschool my daughter. I presently am a SAHM but for a breef time i worked out of the home (a mistake). I love my Lord, husband, children and Church. I am blessed with one of the best pastors ever. I live in the west, Nampa, Idaho. My life verse is Gen 18:25b and my favorite Hymn is Isaiah 40:31. Have a nice day. It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible. -George Washington Genesis 18:25;Isaiah 40:31 http://summer-to-harvest.blogspot.com/ |

RE: New to site
Welcome, SummerHarvest!
I enjoy Sam Gipp's energetic preaching. He gets a little rough at times, but his message is strong. You won't find many ladies posting right now, but hopefully you will find the conversation edifying. My wife has become curious about doing some posting, since I spend a lot of time yapping (after all, I have the laptop!) P.S. My wife and I have been Christian school teachers for 31 years. Our school's theme verse and Scripture song is Isaiah 40:31. In the Service of the KING, Brother Tim Keyes (Proverbs 3:5-6) When I fully rely upon God, I find that He is fully reliable. http://www.morningchapel.org |

RE: New to site
Yes, I have. Pastor Demichele comes to preach at my home church's Leadership Conference in San Diego - Lighthouse Baptist, Pastor Doug Fisher. I was at TVBC, back in 2003, when Bro Gipp, Bro Green, Bro Ruckman, and Bro Rogers were there. I really enjoyed it. I may be up that way later this year (July) to visit a church in Montana, and might stop in for a brief rest, during our furlough travels. Are John and Beth Thomas still with TVBC? How about Randy Mitchell, the associate Pastor?

RE: New to site
Thanks, Summer!
I'll check the webpage out this evening. Please pass along to John/Beth that I was sending my prayer letters to them at their old bluelight e-mail address (I stayed with them during the conference in '03) and would like to send it again, but need their new address. Please say hello to Pastor Demichele and let Bro Mitchell know we're praying for his new ministry. RE: New to site
Hi SummerHarvest. I will be turning 45 in March. I am the mother of an 18 year old son. I was a public school teacher for many years...and, I have heard that Sam Gipp's home school program is wonderful! My hubby and in-laws had the pleasure of hearing Sam Gipp preach many years ago in Ohio.
Revelation 22:5... And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever. "God Gives Light" King James Bible |

RE: New to site
Hi all! Summer, Litesong, and Candlelight - we need to round up some more Spirit-filled ladies to get this message board revved up! I love to fellowship and share recipes, patterns, fabric swatches, quilt patterns, you name it. My children are 31, 27, 18, and 15 yrs old, and my oldest two still live in Kentucky with their families, so I do not get to see the grandchildren as I would like.
Does anyone on this message board sew? I am teaching my youngest daughter how to sew, so any fabric scraps that anyone might have that she can practice on would be greatly appreciated. "Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...it's about learning how to dance in the rain." |

RE: New to site
I know how to sew, but I don't enjoy it so I rearly sew. My mother is teaching my daughter to sew. My mother is a semstress and it is a great way for them to bound. A good way to get people posting is to start a thread or go to the ladies section add to the post already there (you kind of get to know people that way) and add recipes everyone enjoys recipes. I have a new one called chicken sphegetti i am going to post.
