Testing out the new forum

You can try out any of the features of the new software here. Make mistakes, mess up, get it right or whatever.

Mods can make a bunch of jibberish posts and see how the moderator options work. I'll leave this test forum up until we all have a good handle on how the new software functions.

Ray, does the options on the left hand side populate according to your privileges?

RE: Testing out the new forum

You dont get smilies with the quick reply option. unless you know the code. You have to use the new reply button that is just above the quick reply box. Then you get a full menu of smilies and other options.

Oh if your talking about the options on the left of the quick reply, yes. I'm sure members who are not admins of mods don't have the option of closing threads and such.

You can also ad youtube videos if you use the [yt] [/yt] tags. Just add the URL for the Youtube video between the tags.

Yes, sorry, i did mean about the options, you answered the question though.

Nice sermon, I am currently sitting about a mile or so from where Dr. Cairn preaches.

Code:
You can add google videos by using the [gvid] [/gvid] tags and by putting the numbers from the end of the URL to the video between the tags.

Example http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6141201307407485241

Put those numbers that I have in bold between the tags.

This one only works with google video.

Yes, that was some time ago now. He does a radio program though. It can be heard on sermon audio.
