I was just sitting here chuckling to myself. A while back someone made a comment about how I had been made a "super moderator." I don't know how I got to be super but, oh well. Yet I notice that I am of no reputation. That suits me just fine. I really don't want to be of any reputation but unfortunately I am.
In Christ,
George
(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

RE: Reputation
Bro George - I think you're "SUPER" mainly because you're a middle-aged Californian like me and a saved King James Bible believer to boot! Praise The Lord!

Wow! Thank you for that "middle aged" Brother. Truth be told I am going to a golden years gathering at Church today. Would that my body felt the same way my mind does.
In Christ,

RE: Reputation
I try to get by to see my doctor at least once every 5 years. About 10 yrs ago, after he checked all my parts (yes ALL of them), he said that I was as healthy as an eighteen year-old. I told him that I didn't realize how bad off our youth had gotten.

Amen Brother! Once again your humor has lightened up my day a bit. One day some time back I was sitting in my office complaining about something hurting (I don't recall what.) An elderly gentleman came in and we started talking. The next thing you know he looked me square in the eyes and said, "Sonny, when you get to be my age if you only have one thing that hurts you are fortunate." That sort of put things into perspective.
All I can say is that getting old ain't for sissies!

Back to the serious topic of George's reputation:
George, I tried to vote more than once, but Raymond won't let me, so you'll have to lobby some more folks.
Besides, which verse would you rather fit: Ecc 10:1 or Phil 2:7?

Rather Philippians 2:7 but I would in no way attempt to try to compare myself with Jesus Christ. We are required by our beloved King James Bible to move closer and closer each day toward living as He lived. However we are limited by the sin that lives within us.

As another, older, wiser sage one time said: "Son, you don't get to be old, being a fool! There's a lot of young, 'wise men', that are as dead as a door-knob!"
