Big vocabulary doesn't mean a big intellect.

I am just behaving the way that a college graduate who thinks logically and analytically is supposed to behave and utilize vocabulary terminology that a college graduate is supposed to utilize. I value the Holy Bible because it is the written Word of God. But getting back to the discussion at hand about felloshipping and verbal communication with individuals. If someone lost the ability to verbally communicate because of some illness and they received Christ as their Savior they would still gain entrance into Heaven when they pass away right? So why is it important to fellowship with individuals and engage in verbal communication with individuals in church if fellowshipping and verbal communication with individuals carries zero weight when it comes to salvation and gaining entrance into Heaven?

All I can say is: Praise God I am not a Protestant! I am a very conservative fundamental Baptist. I am a Christian first foremost and always. I believe the Bible from cover to cover and even the cover. The cover says: "Holy Bible.'

How can anybody state that Baptists are not Protestant? Baptists are not Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox. And thus that only leaves Protestant as to what to refer to Baptists as.

Robert your comment is one I expected. It shows you know NOTHING about the folks you criticize so much. Get out a book about Baptists. You will find we were in existance far before the Protestant Reformation. Long before.

No Robert, if you look at history and denominations, you would conclude logically that just because a denomination or religion is not Catholic or Orthodox, it doesn't automatically make them Protestant.

The Catholic church or the Roman Catholic church? There is a difference.
In Anglican churches they recite the Apostles creed.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell. [See Calvin]

The third day He arose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy *catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

*The word "catholic" refers not to the Roman Catholic Church, but to the universal church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Apostles creed is incorrect.

"I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth"

Jesus and the Holy Spirit also created the universe, therefore its no surprise that this 'creed' is used by most ecumenical churches; nobody can be offended from other religions, for they all beleive in 'father God' and the 'brotherhood of man.'
