Pharmacists forced to become murderers

Proposal could fine pharmacists $500,000

Democrats are attempting to pass a bill which would make it illegal for pharmacists to refuse to hand out abortifacient chemicals regardless of their own morals and ethics. An abortifacient is anything which induces an abortion. In this case Congress is attempting to force these pharmacists to hand out pills which cause an abortion by preventing an already fertilized egg to continue to develop thereby destroying the new life being created.

They state that women have the constitutional right to birth control and no one can interfere with that right. In this they are correct that legally women have the right to receive the morning after pill if they so choose. Of course, that does not mean they have the right morally to this pill. What is wrong with this bill is that it throws the beliefs of the pharmacist out of the equation. If a woman wants to abort, murder, her unborn child then so be it but let her go to a pharmacist whose ethics do not prevent him from handing out this type of medication.

There are already many pharmacists across the nation who have been punished for following their beliefs on the subject. We need more pharmacists, and even doctors, who will stand up for what they believe and for what the Bible teaches. We need some doctors and pharmacists who will stand up for what is right and refuse to presribe, or fill prescriptions, which would be harmful to their patients.

Abortionists are doing their very best to wipe out all those who stand opposite them. They spout off that they are pro-choice yet they are trying to do away with the choice of those pharmacists whose ethics prevent them from helping to commit murder. They are also against the choice of all those babies they murder who never get the chance to voice their opinion. They claim pro-choice but the truth is that they do not want to have to live with the responsiblity and consequences of their sins.

The Bible teaches that life begins at conception. Every unborn child is a new life that has just as much a right to live as any other person alive. The only difference is that they are totally incapable of defending themselves or of even speaking out in defense of their life. They are totally helpless to stand up against those who would harm them. Sadly, their mothers who should be defending them with their own lives are the ones who are actually putting them into harm's way and allowing them to be murdered before they even have the chance to experience life. Jeremiah 1:5; Isaiah 49:1, 5; Luke 1:15; and Exodus 21:23 all point to the unborn child being a life to its own.

Our government even contradicts itself in this matter. If a person kills a woman with child so that both of them die then the law allows them to be tried for a double murder. Yet, we allow so-called "doctors" to murder thousands of children every year under the disguise of it being a woman's right to chose.

Since these mothers refuse to stand up in defense of their own children then it falls on those who do have the morals as laid out in the Bible. As Christians it falls to us to stand up for those who can not stand up for themselves. Many in the world could care less for their unborn. They make irresponsible choices and instead of living with the consequences of their sin they do anything and everything they can to hide it. Sadly, this includes murdering helpless infants.

I pray that Congress would have enough sense not to pass this bill which is a violation of pharmacists first amendment rights to practice their beliefs as they see fit. However, if this bill does become law then I pray for those pharmacists that they would have the courage to stand for their convictions and not aid in the killing of unborn babies.

In Christ,
