RE: Liberty to Witness
I was sitting here reflecting at my reaction to this earlier. And my first reaction was indeed anger.
A good question is, "What was I angry about?" Was I angry that their first amendment rights were being violated? Was I angry that the first amendment apparently only applies to the ungodly? Or was I angry about the blatant in-your-face homosexuals having rights against God almighty?
I thought ot myself maybe I better answer my question first before I react.
My answer was that my anger was in fact towards the preceived unfairness of gays getting the right to protest along with other ungodly individuals as non-peaceful as they want, going do far as to threaten lives(muslim protestors), and scream their agenda (homosexuals).
After answering that, I thought about the Lord's reaction and then my anger faded, and was replaced with a solemn realization that this is just how it going to be. We can stand up for our faith, voice our faith in the Word of God and show the un-justice system that even they, yes, even they were based upon Godly principles that they rejected. it is written all over the Supreme Court, even though they tell us it is unconstitutional. But it is the end times my friends and even people who have "good morals" who would normally base ther conservatism on what we believe as Christians:
...that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
and
...For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4:4
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Fasicinating and scary at the same time to watch prophecy unfold before our very eyes.
Love in Christ,
Jim
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

RE: Liberty to Witness
The first reaction that many of us have when these injustices take place is to demand that our rights be recognized. While this is justified as American citizens, we should not be surprised that slowly these rights are going to diminish. Paul used the law to his advantage when he was wrongly jailed in Phillipi and later in Jerusalem, but it was in the purpose of God that he go through those injustices.
In the Service of the KING,
Brother Tim Keyes (Proverbs 3:5-6)
When I fully rely upon God, I find that He is fully reliable.

It's just sooo sad to see these things take place because the CHURCH has dropped the ball. 50 years ago, the sodomites wouldn't think of doing this, because there was enough Christian influence in the courts, and the police, to stop them. Now, most churches are in this "bunker" mentality waiting for the rapture! I'm sorry, but The Lord said occupy til I come. We should be obeying scripture, and taking ground from the devil, not vice versa.

Prayer Warriors.
When somebody gets to the point where they think there is nothing else they can do.

The Bigger question is where do we get our RIGHTS from.
Do we get then from GOV. or GOD?
If from GOV. they come and go.
If from GOD they are sure.
Rights need not to be recognized only acted on.
Many have been put in jail for acting on ther rights.
There is NO shame for being in jail for doing RIGHT.
You only ask when you have NO right(permits etc..)
If you ask they(whoever that is you ask) can say NO.
Asking is saying if they say NO then you cant.
