Jesus eaten alive

How can ANY born again Catholic remain in a Church, when a priest allegedly brings the sovereign Lord of the universe down from Heaven, many thousands of times a week worldwide, prepares Him on his altar, then sacrifices Him alive to ALL the church to eat?

If there are any persons on this forum that are content to remain in such a church after learning that this is WRONG, they need psychiatric assistance, and much prayer.

jgb321,

Well I am a Born Again Catholic by means of having received Christ as my Personal Savior and I totally deny that the bread and wine are the actual body and blood of Christ and I deny every other illogical and unscriptural part of the Mass and I deny every illogical and unscriptural Catholic doctrine.

Which church(As long as the church believes that Christ is God and believes in the Holy Trinity) someone who has received Christ as their Savior belongs to has no bearing on their salvation because when everybody stands before Christ after passing away, He will not require for entrance into Heaven that they had belonged to a Fundamentalist or Evangelical Protestant Church in addition to having received Him as their Savior. The only thing that Christ will require for entrance into Heaven is that everybody had received Him as their Savior. Smile

If you are saved, how can you just sit there and watch when this blasphemy goes on?

So as long as everyone believes this and has gotten what they want(salvation), then they can go on doing whatever it is that their flesh desires and everything is ok right?

jgb321,

I do not pay attention to or participate in the illogical and unscriptural parts to the Mass. I think of something else during the illogical and unscriptural parts to the Mass. I only pay attention to and participate in the logical and scriptural parts to the Mass. When I receive Holy Communion under both forms of bread and wine I consider the bread and wine to be just like the Lutherans do. That is I accept the Lutheran doctrine of Consubstantiation. Smile

Jim,

When someone receives Christ as their Savior they do not stop sinning or else the Bible would not state that if anyone should sin after receiving Christ as their Savior that they have an advocate with the Father who is faithful and just to forgive us of all sins and that advocate is Christ.

Even if someone who has received Christ as their Savior does not leave the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church or a Mainline Protestant Church and does not join a Fundamentalist or Evangelical Protestant Church because as anybody with half a brain knows Christ will not require of everybody when they stand before Him after passing away that they had belonged to a Fundamentalist or Evangelical Protestant Church in addition to having received Him as their Savior in order to gain entrance into Heaven. The only thing that Christ will require of everybody when they stand before Him after passing away to gain entrance into Heaven is that they had received Him as their Savior. Cool

(Romans 6:1) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

(Romans 6:2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

(Romans 6:3) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

(Romans 6:4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

(Romans 6:5) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

(Romans 6:6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

(Romans 6:7) For he that is dead is freed from sin.

(Romans 6:8) Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

(Romans 6:9) Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

(Romans 6:10) For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

There is your answer right there. The answers are in the Bible and not in the words of man. Not any man.

In Christ,
George

(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Let's just change the wording here a tad....

How can ANY born again Catholic remain in a Church, when the Church teaches that the sovereign Lord of the universe came down from Heaven, trapped Himself in a body of flesh like a mere man, and allowed Himself to be crucifed on a Cross, thus making God dead for a period of time?

Any persons that are content to remain in such a church which believes that the God of the universe could fit into a tiny human body need psychiatric assistance, and much prayer.

What' s the difference?

Is one somehow harder than the other for God?

Jesus said it was His Flesh and Blood. This was all that people believed for the first 1500 years of the existence of the Church. I would rather believe what the first century Christians believed than what a pack of malcontent rebels invented.
