i went to a good bible preaching church but had a bad experence i became real ill i have eplesy granmal fits i was druged up to high heaven and did not interact with my kids propley. i let the church members look after my children while in hospital but lies was being spread and caused a meeting which i could not attend. i had a letter when i returned home and i was not to contacted any one from the church i gave my heart to the lord recently and my children loved going but when i felt better i asked if my children could be returned home, with my famliy so they could attend school. i did go round and thank the lady in person and the pastor and is wife for taking the children to visit me each day. My mind was real messed up on medication and it was the farther of the children that wanted the children to be returned home. a old lady of the church left when i showed her the letter. i seemed to much for the church to take on. i have eplesy a single mum with 3 children and i live in the next town i needed counciling for sexualy abuse and physical abuse and rape that resulted in a child in my early teens i realy needed help and still do. another church which i had been attending befor and who i work for with the nhs wrote a letter and said it may have ruend my relationship; with god but i still belive but i dont want to go to my old church because it is not preaching kjv and speak in them tounghs but the baptist thought it was best for me to return has they had better resourses to help with my problems and i was not to contact his members again what makes me so sad and depressed is a lady that took me away from the abuse is lef t the church because of it. and it has affected both my younger children and i do not want to return has a member at the church that to me does not teach bible someone please hlelp me i need a church can not drive no more and felt i was not heard or helped or can not be helped and the babtist i am not allowed to go back to. another thing the good preaching church does is not take communian the bread and wine at church surly that is biblical just like being heard is too!

Wow, what an honest and painful testimony.

Looks like your English, and if so there are others on this forum who are in the UK to. I'm sure some of them could offer you advise about Churches and so on.

The only advise I would offer, which probably goes without saying, is to read your Bible each day. Try not to be on your own for to long and get involved with other Christians whenever and as often as possible.

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" (Is. 41:10)
