RE: How many King James Bible churches left in your area?

Since you didn't introduce yourself, dawill, why don't you tell us where you are from. A lot of guys on here know some good churches in a lot of areas. We can't help you if we don't know anything about you.

I am curious why most newbies don't introduce themselves in the new members thread. That just seems indifferent (wanted to say rude but dawill doesn't know me well enough to know I joke Wink). Even my dad (not gonna tell you who he is if you don't know) didn't. Oh well.

How about looking for Christian Churches in your area.

Dawill, I don't know who you are, or what you are about yet, but as I read this, I actually sat back and thought about it. You are 100% right. While we accept the KJV bible as the preserved Word of God, and to us, it being the final authotiy for faith and practice in our lives, I take for granted that any KJV bible believing church is "christian". But you are correct, there are so many of those even going by the wayside.

It is not about the version, it is about the thoughts and intents of the heart. Even KJV bible believers can sorely lack in that area.

A true christian church, that uses the KJV Razz , is a church to be desired. Seriously though, a humble church that desires the edicts of God Word is hard to find today.

Love in Christ,

Jim

Toungue  RE: How many King James Bible churches left in your area?

dawill,
We have already stated 13 or so.......Also not all christians attend baptist churches. Very Happy
Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Just as not all christians belong to a church called the church of God .....They are still part of the Church
I Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

Not all are called the church of the living God?

I Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

If you are in the true church, you do not join it, you are born into it!

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
It is still by faith!
Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
You can still have everlasting life
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

It isn't the church you attend that saves you, it is faith in Christ Jesus that saves you.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does "a brider" refer to? I know what ruckmanism is, but I have heard the term brider used once before in another thread and cannot put my finger on it. Is it similar to Landmark Theology & the Baptist Bride?

I'm not sure what landmark theology is and I'm unsure about what a baptist brider is either i have only heard the term used

Only us, a very small assembly. There is a Oneness/Jesus-only cult that claims to use the kjBible.

Our little assembly had most of its dear saints go to meet the Lord so my wife and I looked for a another Bible believing KJ church in our city. Well we found one that said they were KJ and sang the old hymns so we went to check them out.As the preacher began his sermon, as he quoted verses, he would always add that this word is incorrect, so it should have been that word. So by the end of the sermon, 87 word changes had occurred.
Why cant they just read the verse as it is and not make claims in the local newspaper, church page, that they were KJ only.Fibbers.Smile

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

RE: How many King James Bible churches left in your area?

It gets very depressing not having a pastor (ours moved away last year). There are 3 young people 15-17 who wish to attend our services, but considering the circumstances, and the fact we meet in our home, we don't feel it's wise - at this time. They have chunked out the niv and gotten a kjBible and the girl is learning and desiring modesty. We pray the Lord will send us a man after His own heart who doesn't mind a small flock (6) and who can help the Oneness see their error. Our area is saturated with them. We had a street-ministry too, but rarely go out anymore.

I've never heard of landmark theology. I'm not sure of everything a
baptist brider believes other then that they believe that only certain baptists are going to be part of the bride at the marriage supper
the reast of the saved in heaven will be servents or somthing like that.
i guess i should not have put a lable on a church (i didnt name the church) with out knowing every thing a brider believes i do know that most briders want the doctrine but not the name. and they will not accept bapisms of any other baptist church unless they are like them. if any one has knows exactly what all this is i would like to know

Well that answers my question. Landmark theology goes hand in hand w/ the "briders" so I understand now. Thanks.

Gram sometimes the system does eat things. I don't believe that any of the moderators would have deleted anything of yours.

To answer the question, in the Central California area there are very few. I believe there are three, possibly four in our city. However we are actively planting Fundamental Baptist, King James Bible believing Churches in the area. Recently there have been eight Church planters sent to areas that did not have such a Church.

We are working on it.

In Christ,
George
