Hello

Hello, my name is Bob and I was born in Kent, England in 1958 and raised an RC. By the Grace of God I was saved in a Baptist church hall in Sept, 1975 and delivered from the errors of Catholicism.

I now do street evangelism and work as a book-keeper to pay expenses!

My E Mail is bobhutton62@hotmail.com

Kind regards to all.

Bob Smile

Welcome aboard Bob,

I hope you find your stay here a blessing and honor to the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is a blessing to hear of those who are saved out of the blasphemy of Catholicism. I would love to hear your story sometime.

Love in Christ,

Jim

Reply to JIM:

My story is as follows:

I went to an RC primary (5-11) and secondary (11-16) school. We had normal lessons but also Masses in the school hall and RE lessons sometimes with a priest. When I was 12 I went to Lourdes (Easter 1971). Despite seeking to live as a devout RC and obeying the rules of the RC church I did not have assurance of Heaven. In the summer of 1974 I remember asking myself what was the purpose of life. In Sept , 1975 someone put a card through my door asking me to a Coffee Barthe following Sat. evenin, I threw it in the bin; however, on the Saturday in question I called on a friend in the morning. He had had one of the same cards through his door and was going to the Coffe Bar, so I went with him. During the course of the evening a person named Paul went through a booklet called the 4 spiritual laws and led me to Christ! I will never fortget that night.

I had assurance of Heaven that has never left me - Praise the Lord.

Kind regards to all.

Bob

As an addition to the last post: A Coffee Bar was where the young people of the Church went out on the streets and invited people in; they then made them Coffee and simply sat around talking about Christ. In my case it worked!

Kind regards to all.

Bob
