Just another attempt from Satan to take black and white and make gray. Soon there will be "Lifestyle Neutral" bibles in which referrences to sin are taken away. Oh wait, the NIV is already on the shelves.

The Bible is not gender neutral. That leads to the following question: Since the Bible is not gender neutral can books that are even be called Bibles?

You got me there Scott. That is a good question. I believe I read somewhere that there is actually a book on the market somewhere that is designed for the homosexual community that refers to God as "she."

The TNIV has Genesis 1:27 to read, "Let us create human beings in our image." Ha! Wrong, wrong, wrong! At that point the Bible was speaking about the creation of the man. The male of the species. The female did not come into existence until the next chapter.

As I said before, can these things really be called bibles?

Gentleman, it makes me quake to see all of this being accepted as truth by the world. While I know we are safe and preserved from such things(2 Tim. 4:18 ), it really makes me wonder how far christians have been deceived. Are we starting to see examples of how the very elect could be deceived, if it were possible?

I cannot even begin to understand how something so blatantly sinful can be accepted as truth by Christians. But........ The Lord said it would happen:

II Timothy
4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

You may have a valid observation there Brother Scott. Parts of it are already illegal in Canada and I believe in other countries also. There have actually been preachers jailed in Canada for preaching against homosexuality.

Gee, I guess they could use the NIV, huh? It glosses over homosexuality and leaves out the word Sodomite. Perhaps that would do the trick. Water down the Word of God until it says something entirely different.

The younger generations (my generation included) are mostly pro-gay and it's pathetic. I really dread to see what this world (America especially) looks like when I'm an old man and the world that my kids and grandkids must live in. Gay President? Gay Congressmen? (we already have a few openly gay congressmen and no one seems to care) Illegal King James Bible? Illegal (as George said) to preach against homosexuality? Most of today's christians can't see the devil is slipping all this sin in and destroying our country. I'm with Jim, I just can't wait until the Lord returns. Oh, how I long for his coming!

Amen Brothers! I may appear to be one of those white-robed guys with the long white beards that stand on the street corner saying the end is near, but I sincerely believe that the signs in and of the world at the present time dictate that Christ is coming back any day. What a glorious day that will be.

Gee, I guess I need to find somebody to take care of my cat when the Rapture happens. Of course it will have to be someone that won't accept the Gospel.

I read something the other day that said if you put a frog in boiling water it'll jump out right away but if you put the frog in warm water and slowly turn up the heat he won't move and he'll boil until he dies. That comparison was made to Christians who accept the sin of the world. Satan is slowly turning up the heat and today's "modern christians" are the frogs that don't even realize it. He slipped in a few mv's and nothing much was said, so now the shelves are flooded with mv's. He slipped in a little "Christian rock" and "Christian rap" nobody really said anything so, now the shelves are flooded with them. He slipped in a few "televangelists" no one seemed to argue, now just take a look at the false religious crowd that appears on tv everyday. We are, by the way, ("we" being the sound docrtrine Bible believing crowd) considered the same as the wicked tv crowd in the eyes of the lost world. They don't know the difference between Bible believing and self righteousness.

The frogs are in the pot, Satan has the heat up and if the saved folks don't feel the heat and jump out, it'll be too late. If you don't believe me then take a trip to your local Christian Store and look around for a few minutes. That's where the "gender neutral" bible and the other perversions come from. I just wonder how many authors/editors of these mv's aren't even saved? (I can hear the mv advocates now saying, "Don't judge brother, you can't say that.") It would truly be an interesting study to research the authors and editors of the major perversions and take a look at them closely.

I saw this once and it is so true:

If anyone has the March 25 Sword of the Lord, there's an interesting article about the TNIV that says even many of the mv advocates are against this one because it is so gender neutral.
