I have been a Pastor for 30 years. I have chose not to join these forums because of these discussions that are not and have never been solved. when we get to glory we will understand. now we see through a glass darkly but then face to face and i would not be surprised to hear our savior say that we didn't have it all right. I joined this forum for fellowship not for arguments of which we are warned to stay away from. Robert McIntosh
Thank you RobertM for joining us on Fundamental Preaching. I highlighted an area in your post. Amen!

(1Co 7:2
But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. (Emphasis mine)
Now why do you suppose it is that God caused the apostle Paul to include the statement that if a person remarries under the conditions specified in this chapter remarries they have not sinned if remarriage were prohibited? As has been shown before there is not one but two valid reasons for divorce. One of course is fornication (not specifically limited to adultery as has been so well pointed out here,) and abandonment.
Yes, there is the scripture again, Brother George. Amen.
That would be 1Co7:twenty-eight... lol
God bless,
