Hello all.

This is my first post and I am introducing myself here first before I engage on the forum.

My name is Steven.
I am a Catholic.
While I have my own forum, I won't advertise that here.

Basically, I came across this site by accident and the kindness I saw towards my faith by some under difficult circumstances warmed my heart.

I used to be a very aggressive apologist for my faith, but like Paul, my desire to be a Christian outgrew my ego and zeal for winning.

For some reason, I'm called to make friends with Christians of all denominations. Anti-Catholics take the worst out of me, so I'm learning to avoid them. However, true Christians who focus on pleasing God more than on exposing persons they don't agree with are more attractive to me today.

I was born into a Roman Catholic family, but Praise the Lord I was rescued from that vile and pagan religion when I was 20 years old! I will be praying that God will send some one to rescue you too! Amen.

Cepha, while I applaud your desire to cross differing doctrines, I have to ask you to please not post. If you go to our statement of faith, you will see that if you do not adhere to our statement of faith then we ask people not to post. This is nothing against you, it is to maintain the integrity of our site.
