Board troubles
Is anyone else experiencing delays and errors such as the following:
MySQL error: 2002
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)
Query:
This has just started happening to me in the last few days.

I'm also getting those errors. I've begun writing my posts in MS Word in case the page decides to throw a fit.

I take that back. Still sluggish at times. A few timeout errors. Sort of like me.

It is very sluggish today, and have had the MySQL errors several times.
Reachout Trust forums had a similar problem and updated the software last Tuesday, but lost all postings since January, due to lack of recent backups, so Ray, if you upgrade, please backup. I am sure you would anyway.

The site is slow today also but not really too bad. As far as the SQL error goes there seems to be a pattern to it. I have discovered that if I am typing a long message or have been on the site for a long time and try to post I get that error. The suggestion of typing your messages in Word and then cutting and pasting them on the boards seems to work well. It is sort of like there is a "time out" thing that takes place.
