The year of 1981 marked the 100th anniversary of the Revised Per-Version of the Holy Bible.The past last centry was filled with controversy both from those favoring and those opposing the revision.

The revision committe was divided among themselves.Concerning the battle within the committee {Dr.Westcott writes,"May 24,1871.We have had hard fighting these last two days,and a battle-royal is announced for tomorrow."The American Committee formally recorded their dissent and began work on a revision of their own.This work was later printed in the form of the American Standard Version of 1901.

Neither the Revised Version of 1901 received much use outside the seminary classroom.In the pulpits the KJV was used because the people in the pews would not recognize the modern per-versions.

In the hidden security of many seminary classrooms,however,this same King James Version was slandered as being Vile and Villainous thus causing a slow and painful demise for the most respected and revered translation ever made into the English language.

We KJ Only people should recognize more and more a need for the vindication of the King James Version because of the moral and spiritual decay which has enveloped our Country.I believe this moral and spiritual decay is caused in large part by the destruction of the King James Version of the Bible in modern seminary classrooms.
