Any golfers in the house?

A good friend of mine introduced me to the gentleman's game of golf last year and I have found it to be enjoyable and also a character building experience. (that means I still have lots to learn Very Happy ) Tomorrow will be my first visit to the course since last year along with some friends for church. Anyone else swing the clubs?

RE: Any golfers in the house?

I love to golf. I use to be involved in it comptatively, but it lost its enjoyment. Now I play for kicks and it is a great time of relaxation. I love to play, I am just not consistent. My cousin lives in MI on a golf course (he even sees Steve Yzerman at the driving range occasionally) plays a lot and is extremely good. On his first hole of his first round of the season this year he got an eagle! Not too many people play where I live in Beaufort, NC. The courses around me are expensive too. I miss playing though. I need to find a golfin buddy (preferably a church member who will pay for his pastor Wink).

RE: Any golfers in the house?

I am fortunate to have some "goat tracks" close to me where the cost is minimal, which is great for someone like me who is learning the game and has very little disposable income. There is a course right here in town that has reasonable prices if I go at the right time of day. My budget cannot accommodate the expensive courses that are a distance from my home and my game wouldn't be at home on them anyway. Very Happy
